この製品は、他の追従を許さない秀でた光学性能をそのままに、更に完成度を高めたリニューアルモデルです。高屈折ガラスをふんだんに使用し、10枚構成のレンズのうち3面に非球面を採用することで、 高水準の画質と大口径との両立を実現しています。 
距離計連動カメラでの仕様を前提に設計され、連動範囲は∞~0.7mをカバーいたしますが、新設計ヘリコイドの採用により、最短撮影距離は0.5mまで延伸されておりますので、当社のマウントアダプターを介してミラーレス一眼デジタルカメラに装着すれば、距離計に依存することなく最短撮影距離までピント合わせが可能となり、撮影の可能性が拡がります。 
新設計ヘリコイドで最短撮影距離0.5mを実現。卓越した光学性能、3面に非球面を採用。高い剛性感と耐久性の、総金属製鏡筒。確実なピント操作が可能なマニュアルフォーカス。12枚羽根虹彩絞りによる、美しいボケ味。
