1991年～2011年にかけてイギリスの Ace からリリースされていた The Golden Age Of American Rock"n"Roll シリーズ全18枚揃いです。 
 
各CDのリリース年とコンディションは以下の通りです。 
①Vol.1(1991)、②Vol.2(1993)、③Vol.3(1994)、④Vol.4(1994)、⑤Vol.5(1994)、⑥Vol.6(1997)、⑦Vol.7(1998)、⑧Vol.8(1999)、⑨Vol.9(2001)、⑩Special Country Edition(2002)、⑪Vol.10(2002)、⑫Special Novelty Edition(2003)、⑬Special Doo Wop Edition 1953-1963(2004)、⑭Special Bubbling Under Edition(2006)、⑮The Follow-Up Hits(2008)、⑯Vol.11(2007)、⑰Special Doo Wop Edition 1956-1963. Volume 2(2009)、⑱Vol.12(2011) 
①のオリジナルトレイに爪折れ数本、⑭⑮のケースにヒビがあります。 
⑤⑥⑧⑫⑭⑰⑱の6枚は未開封で、ディスクやジャケットは全体的に「目立ったキズや汚れがない」コンディションです。 
 
1950年代中頃のアメリカには数百の小さなレーベルがあり、RnR、RnBをリリースしていました。リリース数は1958年には数万を数えるにいたり、これらの多くはイギリスでもリリースされています。 
戦後の好景気、ラジオ局によるビルボードヒットチャート番組「トップ40」、55年発売の持ち運びが簡単な安価なポータブルプレイヤー...このような背景の中で新しい価値観を求めていたアメリカのティーンたちは大きな購買層になり、そこにロックンロールは ”はまった”。そして1964年1月のビートルズのチャートイン。 
このシリーズはレコードが爆発的に売れた1954年～1963年のHot 100 Hits からの採録を通して、音楽やその聴かれ方の変遷、キャピトルが当初はしぶったビートルズの受容などアメリカン・ロックンロールに関わる幾つもの様相や変遷を示そうとしています。
