スキーウエア
the north face FUTURELIGHT生地のウエアです。


使用頻度は年間10回ぐらいで3シーズン使いました。
バックプロテクターをしていたため内側が少し擦れてます。(画像参照)
表面は傷汚れほぼなくすごく綺麗な状態です。
機能的には全く問題なくまだまだ使えると思います。

以下　FUTURELIGHT説明

透湿性に加え、ズバ抜けた通気性をもたらすFUTURELIGHT
FUTURELIGHTはポリウレタン繊維をつかってナノレベルの超微細な編み目構造を生み出すナノスピニングという技術によって作られている。疎水性のポリウレタンは水を通さないが、細かい編み目によって透湿・通気するという仕組みだ。

一般的な防水透湿性メンブレンは、ウエア内と外気の差圧によって、内気が外に押し出されで湿気を放出する。つまり、ウエアの内気と外気の差が生まれるまでは、湿気が放出されない。
しかし、FUTURELIGHTの魅力的な点は、空気を通すので、気圧差が起こらずともウエア内の湿気を放出するところだ。登行の最初から最後まで持続的に蒸れずに行動できる。

さらに、一般的なハードシェルよりも肌触りがよく、しなやかなのも特徴。
ナノスピニング技術は編み目の構造を自在に調節できるので、様々な透湿・通気するモデルが生み出せる。例えば、スキー用に保温性も維持したい物から、トレイルランニング用に透湿・通気するモデルがある、といった具合。

これまで、ハードシェルは透湿や着心地に対して様々な課題を抱えていたが、それを一挙に解決するまったく新しい技術を用いた素材がFUTURELIGHTなのだ。
